About Us
We are a Matriarchal Spiritual Community Rooted in Care, Embodiment, and Collective Power
Sovereign Circle is an independent, matriarchal spiritual community devoted to care, balance, embodiment, and shared responsibility. We are a free church and private member community grounded in the belief that life flourishes when leadership is rooted in relational wisdom, accountability, and reverence for the living world.
Matriarchal Foundation
We honor the Matriarchy as a sacred and natural order. Our community is guided by matriarchal governance, where leadership and stewardship positions are held by women and those who live into matriarchal leadership, including non-binary, intersex, and trans people. This structure is foundational to our spiritual identity and protects the values we hold sacred.
Sovereign Circle does not tolerate discrimination, harassment, or harm against any person. Our leadership, governance, and spiritual authority are intentionally reserved for those aligned with matriarchy, and we do not center or prioritize cisgender heterosexual men within this community.
Sovereign Circle is committed to dignity and respect for all people. At the same time, we are a matriarchal spiritual community that intentionally centers women, non-binary, and trans people, and we do not organize our community to serve or prioritize cisgender heterosexual men.
Embodiment and Creative Expression
We honor the body as sacred. Artistic and embodied expression—such as movement, performance, storytelling, music, and ritual—are central spiritual practices within our community. We reject shame-based and patriarchal beliefs that disconnect people from their bodies, pleasure, and creative power.
Bodily Sovereignty, Gender, and Sexuality
We affirm the sacred sovereignty of every body. Each person is the sole authority over their own body, identity, boundaries, gender expression, and sexuality. Consent is a spiritual practice rooted in care and respect and is essential to community safety and trust.
We celebrate gender diversity and sexual orientation as meaningful, self-defined expressions of being. Coercion, domination, or control over another’s body or identity has no place in our community.
Community, Mutual Aid, and Care
We believe individuals are not self-made, but community-made. Mutual aid is a spiritual practice, and members commit to shared care, cooperation, and accountability. We prioritize support for those most impacted by patriarchal systems, especially feminine, trans, and marginalized people.
Justice, Accountability, and Repair
When harm occurs, we prioritize truth-telling, accountability, and repair while maintaining strong boundaries to protect safety and integrity. Our commitment is to transformation rather than punishment, and to collective well-being over individual dominance.
Nature and Sacred Interconnection
We honor the Earth as our Mother and recognize that all life is interconnected. Human well-being is inseparable from the health of the planet. We value regenerative, sustainable living and spiritual practices that honor our place within the natural world.
Membership and Alignment
Membership in Sovereign Circle is a voluntary commitment to shared values, care, and accountability. Participation requires respect for matriarchal-focused governance and alignment with the community’s mission and ethics.
